After payment, you immediately receive an email with a unique download link for every purchased sound. Each link is signed and valid for 12 hours. Unlimited download attempts within that window. The link locks to the first IP that uses it, to prevent sharing.

All prices on the site are shown in EUR. Stripe accepts most major cards and many local methods (SEPA, iDEAL, Bancontact, BLIK, Klarna in supported countries, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.). Your bank handles the FX conversion. Where required by law, VAT, GST, or sales tax is added at checkout based on your billing country — EU OSS rates, UK VAT (20% over £135 import threshold N/A for digital), Norway VOEC, Swiss VAT, Türkiye e-services VAT, etc. Non-EU buyers may owe import or use tax in their own country; that is your responsibility.
No. Per EU Directive 2011/83 Article 16(m), UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 reg. 37(1)(a), and equivalent rules in most jurisdictions, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to digital content once the download begins. You confirm acceptance on the confirmation page before the download button enables. Your statutory rights against defective digital content remain unaffected.
Use for identification, education, decoy speaker testing, training, ringtones, ornithological research, and personal listening is allowed in most jurisdictions. Use during active hunting is restricted or prohibited in many countries, including under the EU Birds Directive, the US Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the UK Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, the AEWA, and dozens of national laws. Yes — Stripe handles all card data on its PCI-DSS Level 1 environment. We never see your card number. The site uses TLS 1.3 in transit and storage is AES-256 at rest.
No. BirdSings is digital-only. There is nothing to ship and no customs to clear.
Long enough to evaluate quality, short enough to deter piracy. Previews are served as browser Blob URLs and the player enforces a 20-second hard cap.
Every purchased file contains an inaudible watermark tied to your order. Sharing files publicly creates a traceable record. See Terms §4.
